Our goal at the United Irrigation District is to provide water effectively to local farmers and ranchers to grow and supply food for the world. Since 1919, the United Irrigation District, has been able to make this happen with the support of rate payers and the Alberta Government. There is 34,400 irrigated acres that are supplied with water from the Belly River and the Waterton Reservoir.
